Of course Roach/Pac want Cotto to beat Floyd lol why wouldn't they? Anything that can happen to keep them out of the ring with Floyd, is what they want to happen (regardless of what their mouths say). I think Cotto/Floyd will be a tough fight sure, and it will go 12 rounds I am 95% sure. However, I just don't think Cotto has the movement and speed to beat Floyd. As I said, Cotto is either on offense or defense, never both, he never transitioned well between the two. Cotto looks good fighting someone who is open to be hit like Marg, but remember, he was basically outboxed by Clottey and almost by Shane. Floyd didn't even break a sweat with Shane except for the 2nd round when Shane caught him. Cotto is not a one punch KO artist, he never has been, his stoppages came from accumulated damage. I just cannot see him being able to go to the body and head on Floyd for any length of time. Also at WW, JMW, his punches do not have as much on them like when he was at JWW. Anything can happen sure and if Floyd has slowed down a lot and decides to lay on the ropes and let Cotto go at him, well sure he could be in deep. But I just do not see that happening. Cotto is just too open to be hit and that mixed with him not having great speed or defense, I just think that the accuracy of Floyds shots will wear him down. I like Cotto and respect him but I can't see him beating Floyd, I don't think his style is the style to beat Floyd (if there is one).

I can't remember if Manny went up in weight for dat one or if Shane came down, if he went up then he cherrypicked it.... Taking a leaf outta Floyds biography right there if dats the case.

He held in the beginning to get a feel and when he did in the middle of the rounds he didn't hold anymore because Hatton started to hold. Floyd actually allowed Hatton to come in and he started to get countered like all Floyd opponents and he started to hold.

Floyd should have tweeted in reply to Manny's statement: Manny thinks Bob Arum is paying him correctly. He is NOT!
