But I like the fact that he is willing to fight other young up and coming fighters like Eloy and he is not trying to make a name for himself by beating on OLD WASHED UP FIGHTERS like some of these other Up and Coming Fighters

Again he is 22, give the guy time he will move up to 135 soon I am sure

Yeah, let the kid get a big fight first. He certainly should be on a p4p list at some point in the next year or two, but let him earn it first.

Let's be real here, Broner is still very green. He's only fought 3 fighters considered remotely legit; De Leon, Litzau and Perez. And against De Leon he was certainly pushed.

Marquez is an 18 year veteran. He's been Boxing almost as long as Broner as been alive.

He's been in the ring with ATG's on numerous occasions and only than 1 of those times, could have arguably got the decision every time.

Marquez would be way way way too much for Broner at this point.

Maybe in a year or two, and a few top, quality wins under his belt, assuming Marquez doesn't slip down the decline slope, then maybe he could have a shot.
