    Makes the most sense. I would think his only way back on HBO (which I'm sure is his goal) is against a guy with a title. I think we've seen the best of Paul Williams. The network will either try and sell him as a resurging titlist or a "step up fighter" for the Canelo's of the world.

        Thread should be more along the lines of who CAN he fight then who SHOULD we fight.

        Nobody of any merit is going to give him a chance.

        Huge risk and basically no reward... unless Shotime or HBO put up the good money for a matchup themselves.

            Williams is toast against top fighters.

            They should fed him, K9, Spinks, Rodriguez and then fight once more against a top fighter, Martinez, Cotto, Canelo ,ect,ect

                Im trying to be realistic, Canelo wont fight him.

                And Williams wont fight Trout(nobody knows who the **** he is!)

                Like I said, Rodriguez, Spinks, Vanes(maybe). Is slims pickings for Williams at this stage!!

                    for william's purposes it's one of the last fights he'd want. that and kirkland.

                    for paul's sake i'd prefer if he didnt take the fight

                    if he really wants to get paid with one or two big fights he should target canelo and JR for later in the year or early next year

                      No point in a Lara rematch IMO. We saw who the better fighter was and it wasn't Williams. I think he should fight someone like Molina, Rodriguez, or Vanes next.
