According to reports in Germany, over 35,000 tickets have been sold for the heavyweight fight between WBA/IBF/WBO/IBO heavyweight Wladimir Klitschko (56-3, 49 KOs) and ex-cruiserweight king Jean Marc Mormeck (36-4, 22 KOs). The bout takes place on March 3rd at ESPRIT Arena in Duesseldorf. The match has been called by some as "one of the biggest heavyweight title mismatches of the last few years." Despite the huge underdog in Mormeck, Klitschko's star power has no trouble selling tickets or getting boxing fans to attend live events.
