Comments Thread For: Sergio Martinez Praises Donaire, But Jabs at Pacquiao

Nonito Donaire’s stock has steadily risen over the past few years and despite a bumpy 2011 that saw him caught up in a promotional snafu with promoters Top Rank and Golden Boy, there’s no denying his talent or star appeal.

Stop crying Maravilla and go north to fight bigger fighters. Your whinning is becoming boring already.

Pacquiao has been the top P4P for years and I believed Donaire will be the next Filipino to do it but I'm sure Martinez will never be unless he fights fighters bigger or his size.

What a f***ing crybaby. How is he coming off fighting Darren f***ing Barker and complaining about Pacquiao's opponents?

Shut up and fight, Sergio, damn.

The sniping is counter productive at this point. He's never getting a Pac fight.

After watching Chavez Jr come into his own last night, Fartinez sure shut his wang sucker about him real quick. Now he's back to picking on little guys. Chavez is now Sergio's Papa. Sergio is just an old man with a crap promoter and he's fighting guys we never heard of.

                  You said it.

                  I agree completely.

Regardless of what Martinez does in his career down the road, or who he fights or doesnt fight, it doesnt change anything in regard to his statements on past events...

I do agree. Besides Cotto and Hatton, I think those were real challenges. Maybe Clottey too but he didn't show up. Anyone besides those and Juan Manuel Marquez they were sort of easy pickings. Still Martinez should worry about his own damn career! He looked like crap vs Darren Barker he better put on a good show vs Matthew Macklin.
