Common sense tells me that Floyd vs Manny would happen without Arum in the picture.

It's called battle worn, beat-up age fighters quickly. Cotto had a life and death sit with 2 fighters who beat him up 4 years back.. It's not age but damage done over time. But I do think that's to hard for you to comprehend..

the only one that make sense is even with a 50/50 split with pac, Floyd would have gotten 50 million to 100m compared to chump change he will get fighting Cotto.

Yeah Maybe Floyd will fight Gamboa next, and the point was. You claim Floyd has never force fighters out of their weight division, he clearly has.


And who is putting up road blocks to the fight and moving the goalposts, it is not Pacquiao it is Mayweather.

Don't really much care on what your discussing with another member in here but the Dela Hoya-Mayweather happen due to Mayweather moving up in weight. I don't think it has someting to do with both or either one of them being with Top Rank. In 2004, Dela Hoya fought at middleweight while Floyd was at jr. welterweight. Don't know though if they were still with Top Rank in 2004.

Even if their not with Top Rank in 2004, its not possible to make the fight happen due to the weight division they are fighting. Even in 2005, Dela Hoya didn't fight at all and Floyd just moved up in weight at ww division.

Everything that comes out of Top Rank right now is BS. They publicly stated that they never wanted to accept May 5th because of a stadium that never existed and a 6 months cut so what are they talking about? Cotto is no longer Top Rank and his fight with Mayweather was made immediately. Same Cotto that everyone said Mayweather was ducking. Im sure if Manny leaves Top Rank he would be fighting Mayweather immediately. According to Manny "It depends on my promoter Bob Arum"
