    May-Cotto/Pac-Bradley....good with me.

May-Cotto at 154 and Pac-Bradley are BY FAR the best fights that were possible for them at the time, besides each other of course. They better fight in Late 2012, but for now, I am alright with this. And it actually does something for both guys' resumes. Mayweather will get Cotto on his resume while he's still good and at 154 lbs, and Pacquiao would get Bradley's name on his, and Tim is unbeaten/Top 10 P4P.

Given the cirumstances and who was truly available, is everyone alright with this???

As much as I love Pac (I am an avid fan) his PPV numbers are going to seriously decline in fighting Bradley (though it is a legit fight) compared to May vs Cotto...

Bradley couldn't draw white to rice...

Heck yeah, so is Pacquiao-Bradley certified, are talks going well? Haven't really been following. I'm still in shock that I'm hearing Pacquiao may go that route, Arum's smarter than that and Bradley can end Manny's hype as a whole. I'd be shock if that happens honestly.

Thank you! The people hating on these fights are either bias Floyd fans/Manny haters or Bias Manny lovers/Floyd haters.

It will all blow up in Arum's face though if Bradley beats Pacquiao. I really believe that Arum and Pac were forced to take the Bradley fight. And though it's not official, it's the fight that's going to happen 100%. I don't think they wanted to fight Tim right now, but it was all that was basically left, after Floyd was willing to fight Miguel at 154 lbs.

It'll be funny to hear the "Pac is still the bigger draw" talk after these fights, when May-Cotto will probably do around 1.3-1.4 million PPV's and Pac-Bradley MIGHT get 1 million.

Besides Marquez III, Floyd has out sold Pac with every common opponent (Oscar, Hatton, Mosley), and Floyd was the first to sell 1 million PPV's with JMM. To put it into simple terms on who sells more PPV's, just look at the per fight #'s, or look at how much Pac-Margarito (1.15 million) and May-Ortiz (1.25 million) did. Floyd sold more PPV's with Victor Ortiz, a good fighter but nowhere near a PPV attraction, than Pac did with Margarito, a well known name throughout the sport.

        May-Cotto/Pac-Bradley, 2 really good fights.

Consistency is a major factor in selling well...Manny hasn't been performing all that well lately, so Pacquiao might not produce the kind of numbers he's been getting. I can't see him looking good against Bradley, it'll be hard enough to win as it is to be honest. As a boxing fan I can't complain about this fight but I was or still am expecting Pacquiao-Peterson, a less riskier foe for Manny. Just surprising really, if it happens...

Props to Manny if he does. Bradley is a very live opponent.

If Pac fights Peterson, it's way worse than if Floyd fought Canelo, and on par with him fighting Guerrero. Lamont is 2-0-1 his last 3 fights....he really should be 1-2. He really should have lost to Ortiz, he beat Cayo, and he really should have lost to Khan. I don't care what anyone says, and it'll be great to watch JMM school him.

Floyd was smart in fighting Cotto at 154 lbs. It's a very legit fight, one that will sell PPV's, and a name he needed on his resume while he's still good. It also adds fuel to the theory that Bob Arum is what prevented May-Cotto, May-Marg, and May-Pac. A ton of people don't remember that in 05-06, Floyd was calling for a fight with Cotto. But Top Rank said "Miguel isn't ready for Floyd". Than, when Floyd split with TR in 06' and than announced he was retiring after Hatton, they all said "Floyd is ducking Cotto". Now, he's fighting Cotto at 154 lbs, while Cotto is past his prime-still good, so he can say he never ducked Cotto, it was Arum blowing smoke like usual.

But, it won't be Lamont for Pac. Arum just said that he'll meet with people from Pac's camp and Bradley's to negotiate the fight this weekend in San Antonio, and that they have the MGM on hold. What happened to Bob's stadium????????????
