Yeah! That's why Pac made JMM do the same thing because they thought JMM was not effective at 144 because Floyd made him look obsolete there. Pac is a cherry picker. I think Floyd *****s him again. Pac hasn't fought anyone at their best in a long time. Pac beat Cotto but at 145 but wanted the rematch at 147 when he could have fought him there the first time like he did with Oscar prior. While Floyd ain't no angel but it should be obvious that he making the better decisions career wise. Arum build Pac up as the man to beat Mayweatther but never really went the distance in making the fight happen but rather made it seem like that way when Floyd was semi retired twice and both times when he came back, Arum said he doesn't care to make the fight happen. Honestly the sport of boxing and the fans really need to stop giving Bob Arum a pass for acting like he really wants this fight to happen. Would be really interesting if Floyd had proof to what he says. Bob Arum said himself that he doesn't want to work with other promoters and fighters have to leave their companies in order to get a fight with Pac. Oscar and Floyd left Arum/Top Rank to make more money. How much more proof is needed to see that Arum is the main one responsible?

The fight with Pacquiao never even went into negotiations because Mayweather did not except the 50/50 split. All that twitter talk just hype for his pre-arranged 5/5 fight.

i'm not happy with this bout at all, but i have to once again give floyd his just due--he's going up to fight cotto---and yes, he did want cotto back in 2005 and 2006 along with hatton and arum said hell no--he knew back then---arum is the only reason floyd won't do business with toprank fighters--

and yes, *****s will use the 145 lb bout manny had with cotto as ammo and they will have a strong argument there also--you know why pac****? coz manny fought oscar at 147 when oscar was 145 and manny moved up 2 weight classes---manny fought clottey after cotto at 147 and margarito at 150 although he weighed in at 143 or something like that--he came into the fight at 150--

how can floyd be bashed for this fight when back in 07 you fools kept saying he was dodging cotto and tony? but manny beats a guy for his title at 145?lol---

so now we have a dilemma don't we folks? anything above 140 is considered ww to many people--so floyd wasn't wrong in that regard when he fought jmm, yet got bashed anyway---but when manny makes jmm come up 3 more lbs he is revered---

hatton won a title at 147--despite struggling late with callazo right? hatton started off at 140 did he not? floyd started off at 130 lbs right? now, hatton was naturally bigger than floyd in regards to weight---floyd was at ww longer albeit but he was a small ww at the time, maybe the smallest besides sharmba mitchell and judah---

you take away the weight and floyd still has a longer reach than hatton and i taller than hatton---and hatton never wanted to fight floyd at 140 lbs--he'll tell you--

arum threw margs at floyd to keep cotto safe--he knew floyd would have dusted margarito and walked through him--easy fight for floyd--it made no sense for him to fight margs--none at all---you all can bash tata baldomir all you want---if floyd fought tony over baldomir he would have been crucified by the media and many of you and you know it--

bottom line after all of this is that this fight is the right fight for floyd to test the waters of jr mw again---and then sergio need to fall in line coz his ass whooping is coming also---manny's ass whooping is preordained--like i've said before--no fighter from 154 on down will beat this kid--age doesn't matter--skills do--floyd is the most methodically skilled fighter in pro boxing history if you ask me--he will dominate cotto who will try to emulate floyd's defense and movement which is smart imo--he did it against manny late and made manny miss alot--

this fight will get tons of buzz and of course it's usual suspects of criticizers who praise manny--but cotto may have been cheated in his 1st fight with margarito and he stopped him his last fight--maybe prematurely to some of you---but he stopped him---

manny imo cheated margarito and cotto for bs title wins in terms of legacy---they made the infamous and now deceased wbc diamond title up for manny--that's like the steve austin smoking skull belt-lol---

manny fights them at catchweights for titles--floyd fights them at comfortable weights for titles and glory---he didn't even make shane defend his title--so floyd is really the 8 time world champion--and i don't care about what you all think about his fight with gatti and judah in terms of titles---yes, gatti didn't beat kosta for his title---judah held the ibf title coz of tata's inability financially speaking to pay sanctioning fees--and yes, even cotto himself usually fought for vacated titles--but at least gatti defended his title before fighting floyd and cotto beat foreman and defended his title twice, avenging a lost in the process before this fight---

you all crack me up--1st you wanted cotto, then you threw him away after his losses---then you picked a new fighter--that's what people who are gullible are good at doing---picking the "new fighter of the month" to finally beat floyd mayweather jr and it doesn't happen and excuses come 10 fold--

What do you expect? Pac ducked him and there's nobody else left to fight save for Martinez which would have been awesome. Plus he's fighting him at his natural weight too so keep smoking your weed laced with shabu.
