Donaire must be joking. Cmon Nonito you can do better than that. I don't want to take anything away from Narvaez but comparing him to Rigondeaux is laughable. Narvaez didn't want to engage, but if Donaire was such a great fighter he would bust him up anyway.

This is absurd, if anything Ramos looked like Narvaez while Rigo did his best to be the aggressor, at Rigo got his man outta there... It looks like Donaire only wants to fight one dimensional brawlers that are undersized so he looks good knocking them out with countershots, apparently he's scared to be in a boxing match with an actual master craftsman like El Chackal. It's a toss up fight to me and really the only fight at 122 that interests me, Vazquez and Arce are easy work for Donaire...

Narvaez actually did what he could against Nonito, but the weight and size difference was just too much. Narvaez had a couple of good rounds, I think 4 and 5 in which he was able to land some good counter punches but he realized that with the size difference he was not going to be able to win the fight.

Nonito with his skills and size should have done a lot more than he did. I think in some article here on boxingscene they quoted Nonito saying that he was bored during one of the 1 minute breaks, yet he didn't do anything else to just take Narvaez out ...

boredom usually comes from doing the same thing over and over again. so why did he not go through some of his repertoire instead?
