Easy!!!! Pacquiao said after the Margarito fight that he will not fight above 147 pound again.... He said it's too much and even in that fight Pacquiao weight in at 144.5. I know you guys have a hate Manny first attitude but just take a second and think. The reasons fighters fight at catch weights is for the fight night weights not the weigh inn weights. Manny fights at his natural weight so he only goes up a couple of pounds after the weigh inn. While guys like Cotto and Margarito go up to to 12 pounds. The night of the Margarito fight he gave up 17 pounds and said after that fight and before now that I think about it that he will never fight above 147 again... BTW he does catchweight both ways he went down to fight Marquez. Why didn't you ask Marquez why he wouldn't fight Pac at 147 or why Mayweather won't fight Martinez at 154???? I'll tell you why... I don't agree with you. Simple as that. You tried to say that Floyd just lets his opponents come forward and pot shots but apparently you haven't been watching Mayweather fight for a long time. IF Cotto/Mayweather happens I'll bet you 20MIL that Floyd beats Cotto up, makes him run backwards and stops him in the 10th. Cotto is open all day for big flush power shots. Floyd is too accurate and technical for Cotto period. You're talking about it being easy for Floyd to adjust to Oscar and Baldomir but Cotto couldn't even adjust to Margarito in the first fight and he was actually hitting Margarito with everything. Dude didn't get one body shot off because he was running while Margarito was jogging up to him. I'm happy that Cotto got his revenge but Margarito was more done off than Baldomir and Oscar at 154. Pacquiao and his team are bs artists. Take a short look at the fighters he has faught and tell me how much of a threat they were to him. All were slow flat footed fighters with no defense. De la hoya slow, no power, weight drained, 8 ounce gloves in a 10 ounce division, cotto weight drained, not allowed to rehydrate, no defense, flat footed, margarito: Slow, flat footed, no defense, 8 ounce gloves in a 10 ounce division.
