154 would be a much better weight for this.
Floyd has a LMW title. He should have absolutely no problem fighting Sergio at that weight.
I hope Martinez is just making a ploy to get Floyd thinking about the fight, rather than just cashing out.

he wants pacquiao.... and if that's not a possibility, he'll give the 3rd best p4p fighter around a fight.... what more could boxing fans ask for?
floyd's too small for 150, and if martinez is willing to drop to 150 what's the big deal?
Ideally, if Sergio dropped to 150 and fought a couple of fights against the top opposition there and looked healthy and impressive while winning, the matchup would make more sense.
Now, what if Sergio demanded to meet Floyd at 150 and Floyd turned it down?

We know Mayweather doesn't want to fight Sergio without all the advantages. You can be a Mayweather fan and still admit this. I have a feeling if Martinez agreed to Mayweather's conditions, Mayweather would outprice himself anyways and the fight would still not happen.

It's crazy how Floyd would actually get criticized if the fight actually happened at 150, when Pacquiao wouldn't even dare fight Martinez at 147.
Anyway, this is old and before Mayweather fought Cotto at 154. I'm sure if this fight happens, it would probably happen at a catchweight of 155 plus or at 154. Floyd knows Martinez is The Ring champ at MW, so he'd love to get that last Ring championship before retiring, making him 3-division Ring Champion + 130lbs Lineal Champion, while also becoming a 6 division titlist. But i'd also be okay with the fight being at 154 and Floyd defends his WBA title. A CW anywhere from 150-160 vs Martinez would be perfectly fine as well. It's a legit top 10 P4P opponent, not a come forward, non-rated, coming off a loss, punching bag. And they are also around the same age.
