ofcourse there is , thats to convice people floyd cant fight in late may, which IMO is bull****...
The fact that all of those ridiculous excuses existed in the first place, proves that Bob Arum had no intention of making that fight.
You know it... I know it... and OBVIOUSLY... Manny knows it.....
So, explain to me why Manny will not demand that fight ?
Why won't PUNKiao step up ?

You guys are an Ellerbe, making excuses and helping Floyd thinks the world revolves around him and that is why his Black A$$ is going to jail. Stop being ignorant and learn to read and learn something... Why should it be seen as or said so that Manny is ducking or the problem when Mayweather negociated these contracts for May 5, 2012...
(1) Did he call Manny's people before signing the contract or ask if that was a good day for Manny??? NO Dumb A$$es he signed those contracts before he took to Twitter.
(2) Did he call Manny and say hey, I'm going to beat on women and plead guilty in a case and get myself in some BS and it might effect the negociations of our fight???
(3) Did he call Manny and say let's fight now because I'm about to retire for the 3rd time??? If he went and signed contracts to fight Manny on May 5th without talking to Manny before than that's just ******!!!!
If he signed contracts and planned on fighting Manny exactly on May 5th why did he Tweet the call outs the next day???
If he planned on beating his BM and getting in trouble and pleading guilty thus making the normal course of business impossible why didn't he consult Manny first??? The reason why is because people like you *****s make excuses for him.
Nobody said to him Floyd maybe you should fight Manny before you retire or took a long break or whatever he did.
Nobody said Floyd if you want to fight Manny on May 5th maybe you should talk to him before you sign those contracts.
Nobody said hey Floyd if you want to fight Manny before or after you go to jail maybe you should talk to him before you make your appeal to move your jail date.
Nobody said he Floyd maybe you shouldn't beat your BM or any woman for that matter it can cause problems down the line!!!
Now Floyd did all these things without consulting Manny and he says fight me now and on this date and you don't have a say because I made 10 decisions without consulting you and I'm stuck on this date and yet Nobody says Floyd you are wrong!!!
None of us would take the **** I clearly explained from anybody let alone self admited woman beater... But yet you *****s are asking Pac to do what you and Ellerbe and the rest of Team Mayweather does, accept his BS and say nothing!!!!!!!!
We are genuine boxing fans, so we can see what's up.

***** is scared. a true g would scoff at such judicial rulings and say i'll roll into the pen on my timetable. the twitter thug is using his lawyer to make up excuses to not fight at a later date. the date he should be worried about is the one he makes in cell block 69 with bubba and gaylord. coward the ducker

He likely has contractual obligations (to MGM) to fight that day, but he should have thought about that before he booked that venue without an opponent or a contract.
It is as simple as that.

So it was okay for Martinez to go up in weight to middleweight to challenge the world champion (Pavlik) but it is too much to ask floyd to come up to fight Martinez at a weight below the jr. middleweight limit? Wow, that is lame.

Originally posted by richardt View PostIt is settled.....Arum needs to accept this date. Very simple. It has nothing to do with Mayweathers ego or being in control. He wanted to fight before going to Jail and reserved this date. Pac can accept it or Mayweather will have to chose another opponent. Mayweather has a right to fight on this date and is legally obligated to do so.
Reserving a 5th May date and asking your opponent to fight on that date isn't negotiating. It's bullying or just trying to make it look like you want the fight.
