The Manny hate stems from the ridiculous, absurd Manny worship that goes on everywhere. I have never seen so many overnight "boxing" fans sprout up, just because they are swept up in this Manny hype. Financially has Manny been good for boxing? Absolutely. Is Manny a nice, humble guy? Seems so. Does Manny fight as best he can in the ring? Yeah looks like it to me. Is Manny an all time top 10 great? No he is not. The hate stems from this BS viewpoint that Manny is better than he is. Just because every Filipino on Earth thinks Manny is the best fighter to ever live, does not make it true. People think he is invincible, indestructible, superhuman bla bla bla ...it is just beyond old at this point.
