      Are you kidding? If Floyd was putting on boxing clinics against his opponents and didn't speak english he would still sell because people would want to see him box. They don't pay to see him have a conversation. Anderson Silva of the UFC doesn't speak a lick of english but he does 700,000 buys and sells out in vegas because of his talent in which people want to see him display.

        Anderson Silva has a "action" "fan pleasing" style.

        Floyd doesn't. If floyd didn't say something controversial or insult his opponents heavily before the fight than he would do worse numbers than Cotto.

            700K is not 2.4mil, is not 1.4mil, is not an averaging over a mill.

            And, if Floyd couldn't speak English from Ecuador then there would be no ESPN coverage, no skip Bayless nonsense on first take, no argument with Brian Kenny, no PTI conversations, no argument with Larry Marchant, No ******ed ass interviews on radio stations, no ESPN commercial, no dancing with the stars, no WWE showcases, no cover of XXL, more importantly probably no 24/7, no fight hype videos, it would be very little controversy image.

            It's not just skill, there are plenty of fighters with skills who can box other fighters ear off in a consistent basis. Who can't draw PPV numbers. It takes more than skills to be a PPV star.

            If Pac wasn't Filipino and was Puerto Rican instead you would be on your knees with your mouth open taking every drop of his.
