I admire his decision, but this is a bad business move.
switch promoters, fight Pirog. Gain respect the hard way, defend The Ring belt to whichever challenges it which in this case is Geale and so on

Honestly steroidgio hasn't done ANYTHING at middle weight. Pavlik? A true bum with no defense, slow, etc. williams? A small welter fighting at middle weight?? Dzinziruk? Who was that?? A euro bum. Barker?? A goat farmer? All bums ya'll. And he thinks he stands a chance against pac?? This bum needs to prove something first and then claim a title.

They do not care about Sergio. I expect some kind of article from WBC explaining their BS and empty words for Sergio, and the fans, to save face. They will try to legitimize what's been going on, by mentioning cute little numbers and rankings.

*** the WBC they don't care about Sergio because he doesn't have a big fanbase and isn't a big name. The Ring title should be the only belt around IMO. *** all these other titles, wbc, wba, wbo, ibf, ibo, nba, nabf, abc, def, ghi, jkl, mno, pqr, stu, vwx, yz.
Good post, I bet you are right.

wbc diamond belt is just a honorary title, it means nothing. i don't think it's even subject to the mandatory system.
good thing to see someone going against the wbc, but i bet dibella isn't too happy about it.

Props to Martinez but knew JCC Jr would never fight him. This way JCC Jr. doesn't have to give up his fake belt and the WBC and Arum can go on protecting him.

Now all Sergio Martinez has is the fake belt he got for beating a drunk, drug-riddled Kelly Pavlik who barely even showed up for training camp.

That should teach him to mess with JCC JR.
                  Are you ******ed?

Absolutely. Nothing has changed. It is still about who you fought, but more importantly, when you fought them..... with a small consideration given to who you did not fight..... and nothing other than that.
