Comments Thread For: V. Klitschko: I Want Haye Bad, Even at Wembley Stadium!

WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (43-2, 40 KOs) once again strongly emphasized his willingness to to fight David Haye (25-2, 23 KOs). Vitali faces Dereck Chisora (15-2, 9KOs) on February 18th in Hamburg, and then wants Haye in June 2012. Vitali's younger brother, Wladimir Klitschko, defeated Haye on points in July - a result that left a bad taste in the mouth of Vitali. The 40-year-old champion is even willing to give Haye the homecourt advantage by making the fight in Wembley Stadium. Vitali had no problem facing Polish superstar Tomasz Adamek in a brand new soccer stadium in Poland.

would love to see it although i don't see Haye winning. Hopefully they can make it in June before it gets any further down the line and we are lookin at tune-ups 4 Haye etc

Hope Haye grows some balls, comes out of retirement and fights him in London. I think this fight would be better then Wlad fight.

Haye v Vitali in front of 90,000+ at Wembley would be awesome.

hopefully haye finds his balls and signs. I see this being a very entertaining fight, much more so than the wlad fight as wlad just hid behind the jab and controlled the fight safely without risking absorbing a few counters and going for the KO. Unlike Wlad, Vitali won't be so afraid of getting hit and will get stuck in forcing haye into a proper fight. (WHich actually makes him more suitable for haye than Wlad was and gives haye a fighting chance) I still see a Vitali winning and with more chance of a KO BUTwith a slight chance of the opposite happening and Haye upsetting the odds with a big counter due to Vitali exposing himself to it alot more than wlad was willing to do.

Can you imagine the level of Haye's stardom if he managed to stop Vitali in front of 90,000?

Sadly it's probably more likely to be the other way around, but one can dream!

Exactly. It's a sham fight against a sham heavyweight.

So Vitali just admitted that Haye WAS entitled to dictate some terms against Roidimir, and got none. That's the same thing as cheating. So Haye had a broken foot and Roidimir too all other advantages. I don't understand why that fight hasn't been ruled NC. As for Roidtali...he should stop lying about having the stones to face Haye
