Comments Thread For: Mormeck's Trainer: He Studied Tyson, He'll Beat Klitschko

Kevin Rooney, Mike Tyson's former coach and the current coach of French heavyweight Jean-Marc Mormeck (36-4, 22KOs), has no doubt that his boxer is capable of beating IBO/WBO/WBA/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko (56-3, 49KOs) on March 3rd at ESPRIT arena in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Lol Rooney is taking ****, does he really think anyone would believe that Mormeck could master Tyson's style in a few months! Would take years and years and years!

Yes, all of the belts are in Europe. And frankly, I hope that they soon return to the United States
Damn, Rooney. Hate to break it to you but your boy is FRENCH. How's he going to bring the belts back to the states?
Geography not withstanding, the fight is exactly three months before Mormeck's 40th birthday. Seems a little late in his career to turn into a heavyweight giant-killer.
      We shall see...

I think It would have been wiser to study tapes of Wlad's weaknesses rather than old tapes of Tyson. Even prime Tyson would have had his hands full with either of the Klitschko. Although it would have been just a matter of time before Tyson checked Wlads chin and took him out. Can't say the same for Vitali though.

well watch some of his title fights at cruiser weight. pretty much every single of it was a nice war and very watchable anyway. he can bob&weave and pressure like Tyson also he can bend and box like Toney. What he lacks is footspeed, punching power and most importantly physical strength to compete with someone like Wladimir. thats why hes going to fail anyway. even if he knows how to beat Wladimir, he won't be able to execute. not a snowballs chance in hell

Somebody send Devon Alexander some tapes of Floyd Mayweather. He should be ready for Pac man for his next fight.

                lol.

Studying and accomplishing are two different things. Wlad will definitely win this fight.

If a fighter believes that, he has already lost.
