so manny and floyd can pick on marquez who fights 2 weight classes below them but Sergio cannot call them out at 154 or 150 (a weight class mayweather and pacquiao have won a world title at?)

Fight with Judah was already agreed upon before Zab lost to Baldomir. Baldomir fight was an upset but Zab still held one of the titles because Carlos didn't want to pay for it. Floyd beat Baldomir, who beat Zab to become the recognized WW and Lineal champion at 147. Pac hasn't done that yet in the division and has been more active then Floyd. Floyd did not duck Margarito or Cotto. You are wrong. Bob Arum didn't want to make the fight after Floyd beat Gatti. Arum didn't even want Cotto to fight Hatton. Margarito asked Floyd for the fight while he was chasing De La Hoya in that famous video. I don't understand why so many people think Floyd ducked these dudes. Immediately after Margarito stepped to Floyd and asked for the fight in his next match against Paul williams (A fight he tried to duck) he lost and according to you, Paul Williams was/is just hype. So you expect me to believe Floyd could not beat Margarito? Please. De La Hoya at 154 was more than a challenge than Margarito at 147. Margarito could not even beat Daniel Santos at 154 or 147. Hell, even Margarito said Baldomir would be a tough fight for Mayweather and that Floyd was a threat to him. Fam, you can't hang with me debating. You're a Pac fan I get it but when it comes to boxing and the facts you are no match. Don't mean to sound arrogant about it but it is the truth. You post on personal feelings alone with no substance.

"The only two threats I see at 147 pounds are Mayweather and Baldomir," Margarito recently told ESPN.com over brunch in Las Vegas. He will have, he said, a rooting interest Saturday night.

"Mayweather should be the favorite," Margarito said, "but Baldomir's a dangerous fighter. We'll see."

"We're looking for guys like Ricky Hatton and 'Pretty Boy' Floyd Mayweather. So you're seeing now the finishing touches on the emerging superstar, and in 2006 hopefully he will be able to claim the mantle of the real, real superstar."

Hatton emerged as the recognized 140-pound champion with his TKO of Kostya Tszyu June 11. Mayweather, the pound-for-pound king who is also promoted by Arum, stopped Arturo Gatti to claim a junior welterweight title two weeks later.

Cotto against either man would certainly qualify as a super fight, but before either match can be explored seriously, he has to keep winning."
Ducking Cotto and Margarito my ass.

does not erase the fact that floyd fought him while coming off a loss to a bum...floyd still fought him ..and it was hypocritcal for you to criticise pac for fighting clottey.... you say floyd ducking cotto and margs has no substance but that was the main reason (besides the pac fight) why floyd got criticised and labeld a ducker homie...so keeping it real, that has a lot of substabce...

Absolutley true and Sergio is frankly speaking the truth which sadly in this day and age and even in Boxingscence seems to be completley shunned and taken as an insult.Pac NO WAY NO HOW IS NO PND FOR PND KING! ITS SOO OBVIOUS AND SAD.THIS GENERATION OF BOXING FANS AND "EXPERTS "SUCK! THEY DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY SEE WHEN THEY SEE IT, THEY ONLY SEE WHAT THEY WANNA SEE. Just like Grustler said mr miyagi acts ****** waves at the crowd fights a buncha bums then smiles at the camera and people eat it up,and people are completley blind. JUST THINK WHOD FARE BETTER AGAINST SERGIO? PAC OR MAY?. ......EXACTLEY.I CERTAINLY CANNOT ENVISION SERGIO GETTING HIS BUTT KICKED LIKE PAC DID TO NO 38-YR OLD LITWEIGHT EVEN IF THAT LT WEIGHT IS A GREAT!!!!!

Pavlik's got some personal issues and to discredit PWill? Are you serious? The only win that stands out of his resume was the win against Winky, yes! the old Winky Wright. If Pwill got ko'd in the 2nd round falling face first deserves a credit after predicting a KO, then you give him a credit. Martinez landed a "Hail Mary Punch" unfortunately for PWill. Martinez is still a nobody, Margo knocked his Azz out! He should get his revenge first before calling out the midgets in boxing.

Sergio moved up without a catchweight and beat Pavlik. The only guy who was coming off of a win at WW who Pac fought was Miguel Cotto and he didn't look that great in his fight with Clottey AND needed a catch weight for an already damaged Cotto. Can't go around discrediting other fighters opposition when Manny hasn't been fighting the best AT ALL with exception to Juan Manuel Marquez and he didn't even deliver in that fight and Marquez was moving up to where Pac was dominating bigger guys. Not a good look.

This is hilarious considering Martinez has been ducking and dodging Pirog like the plague and Pac just fought 2 first ballot HOFers within 7 months lmao

You stay trying to **** on Zab Juah but a prime Miguel Cotto fought Zab AFTER he lost to Floyd and still got busted up and mouth bloodied. I said that your posts have no substance. In regards to Margarito/Cotto debate. Lets ask Bob Arum what REALLY happened, shall we.....

Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million.

Arum said Mayweather also asked for $20 million to fight De La Hoya, a fight Arum said he wasn't interested in participating in.

"That's not in the cards," Arum said. "He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It's not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road."
Fight with Oscar De La Hoya happened. Didn't it?
