Ward should still win by UD. He always has an ever-changing gameplan that will overcome Froch. I see him fighting one way for the first 3 rounds, then changing it up almost how he's done with Allen Green, but not with going in on the inside but with boxing.
Best of luck to Froch.
WAR Ward !!
Anyone wanna bet, I got Ward ?

The gym I mostly trained in as a kid, Crichton Cobbers, was old but it had pretty much everything, a split-level boxing gym, a big tae-kwon-do studio, a wrestling gym, a full sized gymnastics floor, and a great weight-room.....
We were never allowed in the weight-room, ever..... not because of fee's, you pay one fee you can attend whatever class you want. We were told that the weight-room was off-limits by the boxing trainers, not the guys who ran the gym.
Weights and boxing dont mix, especially in the am's, and especially in the lighter weights..... it is easy to train the wrong way.
The one time I remember questioning our coach because I saw him down there one Saturday morning with one of the more advanced guys..... he told me they were down there twice a week for advanced speed work, and nothing else..... he told me to stay away from the weight room and just stick to the speed machine upstairs.
It is obviously a little different in the pro's, but the focus should be on stamina, conditioning, and technique, because big muscles dont make you punch harder..... technique and timing are the key, but stamina/conditioning will help your punch resistance.
Technique and timing, is what Andre Ward is all about.Last edited by LeadUppercut; 12-17-2011, 06:25 PM.
