Bryant Jennings: “It was tough to have the fight postponed but I’m ready to fight Perez right now. I can’t speak about why Perez looked different against Takam, maybe he had a bad day. I don’t worry about Perez, I’m focused on being the best I can be. I’m not preparing any differently, I’m going to fight my fight and win on Saturday night. Not sure how but I’m going to win.”

Mike Perez: “Yes, it’s a big deal fighting as a heavyweight at Madison Square Garden. I want to add my name to the champions who have fought there. He needs to be ready for me, because I’m ready for him. He’s a little taller than me but that won’t matter during the fight. My prediction is that I’m going to win.”

We're midway through the year and I decided to start my 'best of 2014' list for the best hw fights. Off the top of my head I have these fights:

Cunningham - Mansour
Takam - Perez
Jennings - Szpilka
Povetkin - Charr (this was a mismatch but Povetkin was dominate and scored the highlight reel ko)
Klitschko - Lepai (same)
