Promoter of former title contender Odlanier Solis, Ahmet Oner, has said that he would like to organize a fight against the 27-year-old American heavyweight contender Deontay Wilder.

"I do not want to take anything from the Wilder - 29 wins and 29 knockouts, of course, speak for themselves. But I do not see Wilder as the next great HW. At least, until he gets in the ring against a real opponent. I suggest Wilder meet Olympic champion and former contender for the title of world champion Odlanier Solis. Wilder may be the best heavyweight in the U.S., but he is certainly not the best in America. Solis is the best heavyweight - comes from Latin America and is one of the best fighters in the world. I do not think that Wilder and his team will fight with Solis, but I'm sure Showtime will gladly want to organize such a match. I did business with Golden Boy in the past. I have no problem with them. Richard, let's do it. Wilder vs. Solis - the power of the United States against the Latin American power. The winnergets Klitschko! ".

Szpilka Mollo rematch is tommorow on FNF, first fight was great can a rematch match the first? we will see. Mollo seems to be in better shape after a proper training camp so there might be an upset.

Boris Grinberg on Vitali Klitschko WBC decision

"Vitali Klitschko - a very worthy champion, who spent 11 successful title defenses. I can not understand why the management WBC went to meet him. In today's professional boxing not a lot of champions dominate a weight class and hold the championship belt for almost 10 years. Vitali Klitschko is one of them, and has earned such treatment. Also, I respect the decision to grant Vitali Klitschko recovery time from injury. As is known, at the beginning of the 2014, the WBC will decide whether or not to pursue a fight for an interim champion. If the WBC decides to change its position and make an interim title fight, Magomed Abdusalamov would gladly fight Bermane Stiverne. As you know, Stiverne is the WBC mandatory challenger for the title. The second and third lines of the ranking are occupied Seth Mitchell and Chris Arreola, who will battle each other in the autumn, so they could not go out to fight with Stiverne in October. Magomed next in line, and he is the only boxer from the top ranking, who is still available and ready to go to battle. "

Nikolai Valuev gives his thoughts on Povetkin-Klitschko

Klitschko-Povetkin is a truly historic event - the greatest event. It is understood by all, even casual fans. I followed and continue to follow the preparations for a fight, and I know firsthand how difficult it was to bring to Moscow an event of this level. I understand that a lot of work has been done by Andrei Ryabinsky and, as a man of sport and public figure, I want to express my deep gratitude to him for the fact that our country is hosting the fight. "

"In the media and in professional environments, we continue to discuss all issues related to the cost of the event, the fees, boxers, the prospects and profits and losses of Mr. Ryabinsky, missing, perhaps, the most important thing. I have known Andrew for a long time, as for the true fan of the professional boxing it became his goal to bring two giants and Olympic champions to Moscow. At one time it seemed impossible. "

Tyson Fury's trainer welcomes arrival of Steve Cunningham in camp

Trainer Peter Fury believes former opponent Steve Cunningham will help Tyson Fury sharpen his skills for his heavyweight clash with David Haye.

Fury's training is intensifying ahead of next month's showdown with Haye, live on Sky Sports Box Office, and Cunningham has agreed to spar with the unbeaten 25-year-old at his base in Belgium.

The American waged a thrilling war with Fury in April and floored the Wilmslow man heavily in the second round, before being knocked out by a big right hand in the seventh.

Cunningham, like Haye, is a former cruiserweight world champion with a similar build and Peter Fury believes the sparring sessions will be excellent preparation for the blockbuster bout on September 28.

"Steve will bring his boxing skills, movement and speed with him and will be good for Tyson. I have always said that he is a top fighter and I am very much looking forward to meeting him when he gets here."
