Comments Thread For: Broner: Fighting Rios Would Be Best Night Of My Career

By Ryan Burton - The Boxing Lab show welcomed newly crowned WBO super featherweight champion Adrien "The Problem" Broner (22-0) to their most recent edition of krikya360.com's official audio show. Fighting in front of his hometown fans in Cincinnati, Broner knocked out Vicente Martin Rodriguez (34-3-1) in the third round of their title fight that took place this past Saturday.

The super featherweight division is void of star power. Broner's weight class is sandwiched between the featherweight division which features fighters such as Yuriorkis Gamboa, Juan Manuel Lopez, Chris John and Orlando Salido and the lightweight division that has name fighters like Brandon Rios, Juan Manuel Lopez (if he moves back down in weight) and Erik Morales who informed the The Boxing Lab that he is going to drop down in weight. This guy beat an Argentinian bum for a gift wrapped world title and now he thinks he can beat Rios ? um NOPE. i don't see it happening, he mimics Floyd's style and fails, doesn't tuck his chin and gets tagged way too much, Rios would take advantage of that, Easy work for Rios. Only fighter i see giving Rios a tough fight right now is Yuriorkis Gamboa and Marquez.

Also "over hype" Broner got beat by a small Ponce De Leon so he's beatable, and i doubt he beats Gamboa or Salido, he will get taken care of by Golden Boy.

you here that sergio martinez.. he would rather move up than down in weight.. only chumps call out guys 2 weight classes below them.. go up and let ward knock you out like margarito did back in the day and then you went overseas fighting bums padding your record.. avoiding all the real fighters at 147. all of them were fighting each other mosley, forrest, mayorga, ike quartey zab judah, even mayweather 5 years ago.. (where were you) etc etc etc.. but not you you were in other countries fighting cab drivers lol then came back over here when they all retired trying to get a check.. cornball.. p4p my ass.

Rios already beat a pretty good boxer with power in Acosta. Broner has more speed, looks a a lot smaller. I can see Rios stopping Broner. Gamboa is more dangerous. I've already seen Broner look average against a slower accumulation fighter in Ponce.
