I saw Broner knockout Litzau and haven't seen Russel yet. I'll be watching both of their recent fights tonight and will be able to give better judgment.

Wow, this thread is missing something. What is it?? Oh, *******s. That's right the only thing they know is Pac-Yow and his past/future opponents. They aren't boxing fans.

Broner is a champion Russell was fighting 8 rounders in September. You can't compare them

IMO, it isn't that close. Russells talent just jumps out at you. He looks like he's already ready to take on some of the elite fighters. Broner looks good and his build looks like he might be able to claim championships in multi divisions. Both look really good but Russell looks fantastic, a type of talent that could make him one of the best fighters in his division of all time.

Broner just reminds me of Andre Berto doing a Floyd Mayweather impression. Maybe I'm being too hard on him.

You do realize Russell is still a prospect right I am pretty sure Broner looked just as amazing as a prospect.

Russell probably the more skilled, but Broner is actually enjoyable to watch, so I'll roll with Broner.

broner is technically a prospect as well. just bought along much faster. probably because hes in a weaker division. but thats not really his fault. he still has fought the better fighters at this point.

To me that doesn't matter because Russells skills jump out at me as a can't miss prospect. Maybe Broner looked impressive as a prospect but from what I've seen is he is very sound and skilled but doesn't have the skillset of Russell. Russell has the skills that you only see a few times a decade, he's that talented. Broner is good, he can be a top 10 p4p for a while but Russell is something else, he is super special.
