I look forward in the coming days to more excuses, smoke screens, and delusions.
The Pacquiao-Mayweather obstructions are clearly coming from Floyd:

    1) Floyd didn't know he was fighting Pacquiao on May 5th.

    2) Floyd changed his mind about fighting on May 5th.

What comes out of Ellerbe and Golden Boy mean nothing until a fight is signed. Look forward to more more of Floyd's excuses, smoke screens, and delusions.

I can't believe how much hate Guerrero gets here. He clearly lacks the experience Manny has, but besides Manny, he's a young and strong top-contender - just like Ortiz was. Clearly a lot more of a contender than Mosley, Margarito, Clottey, De La Hoya and even Cotto (at that time and weight) ever were.

And if Aurum isn't interested in letting Manny fight Mayweather, then who's left? If Mayweather fights Berto, then you'll complain about it - saying he already lost to Ortiz. If he fights Bradley, then you'll say Bradley is too small and tailor-made for Floyd, same with Maidana. Khan? "He's not ready" is what you'll preach.

Fact is, whoever Floyd fights, there'll always be someone *****ing.

In fact, I'll say that if Mayweather's next opponent is announced as Guerrero (or any other big name fighter), then he has bested Pacquiao's opposition from 2008 until now - in 4 fights!

      **** it, he already has.

If you think I'm wrong, then please give your arguementation.

keep reaching, you'll never get there but it doesn't hurt to try.

"May 5th is still the date that we believe we're going to fight on, but I would love to fight in February if it's possible".

Now back to Boxingscene, Who wrote or asked these questions?

More of Floyd saying he didn't say that. Incredible.

You cannot defend Robert Guerrero as a legit option for Floyd Mayweather. That you even compare Guerrero as an opponent to Bradley or Khan or Berto, proven guys around Floyd's weight class, is way off base to begin with. The guy's only fought at 140 once, and isn't campaigning there.

It says something about how irrational a fan of Floyd you are that your first instinct upon same baseless rumor of Floyd fighting Guerrero is to justify the fight.

Boxingscene is trolling. What a great way to take the pressure off of Team Manny. A+ for the great effort and creativity.

are you kidding???.....guerrero? that shows you just how far pacquiao has fallen off the fans p4p radar. guerrero is a lighter, slower version of ortiz and for steward to say it's "pickem fight" shows that he has either drunk the hbo kool aid or imo shows how overrated and outdated i've said he's been for the last 10 years.
