    Could have gone either way.

Even if I give it to Pac, I still have JMM up 7-5

      3) Defense: Again do I even have to fight this for Marquez...... no contest Marquez

      4) Clean and Hard Punching: All the clean and hard punches were Marquez, the only guy getting jolted out there was pacquiao.

This is how rounds are SUPPOSED to be scored and the reason why Marquez won. No one can deny the above everyone saw it with their own two eyes.

It is the reason a guy like Floyd Mayweather can win round after round by pumping the jab and throwing 10 shots in a round while his opponent misses wildly with 30 or 40 shots.

Compubox, no matter how inflated they might be, which they are...... has no bearing on the fight. If it did.... we wouldn't need judges and beat up fighters would win a ton of fights just by throwing throwing and throwing no matter how ineffective they are.
      Great post man.....

I had Marquez winning the fight though I am a Pac fan. He got robbed this time and I am not proud of Pac's performance today. It was so crappy, I want to sleep during the fight.
Not only do most Pac fans think that Marquez won, most ****** pac-fans think that Marquez won. So, Marquez is the first Mexican fighter to win legitimate titles in 4 divisions then?

you're referring 6th to 9th rounds where JMM did have those clean punches

but in later rounds he missed most of his shots (probably either of Pac's footwork or he's being wary of a late knockout)

Nacho reminded him to avoid getting knocked down which may play a part in JMM's strategy during those late rounds

I won't be watching another Pacquiao fight no matter who it is against. Its clear nobody will get a fair decision against him no matter how well they perform.

Marquez, I'm sorry I ever doubted you. Well done. You did yourself proud. You did your country proud and you did your fans proud.

Its a bad day for boxing.

To me that was a clear Pac round, and tells me that you are giving every close round to JMM. Considering that you would have had it 7-5 JMM otherwise, and knowing that you are giving JMM the benefit of the doubt clearly....

Close fight. Not a clear win for either guy.

Judges, both here and elsewhere all have the same flaw:

They award gift rounds in the middle of the fight to the fighter who is behind on the scorecards. It always happens. They see the fighter who is clearly winning, and they jump at the chance to award rounds to the opposition. Then, when the person who is behind in the scorecards starts picking up steam, suddenly after 3-4 rounds they've taken the point lead because you were overly generous with them in the middle rounds.

Also, for people talking about compubox:

Unless it's changed, it's literally just 2 guys sitting there pressing buttons. They've never been close to infallible. And, if you use punchstats at all, you can't see the forest for the trees.

lol at *****diots butthurt like they lost their mind. This win is much better than Floyd who came 15-20 against Marquez.
