Exactly the point. Pac and JMM are the same size. This fight should not be a WW fight. Neither could even make the CW of 144. It could have easily been between LW and JWW. Which is why the majority of everyone is saying JMM is going to get beaten as he does not belong at WW. It's already been proven which is why Pac demanded the weight.

JMM is more effective at lower weights. The weight of 144 was selected because he can not compete at the WW level. Just look at the numbers. It's not hard to see. There is a reason Pac selected to fight him at WW and his WW belt has nothing to do with it.

Both Pac and JMM have been weighing within the WW limit at fight night for years now. Why do you insist on making them cut weight and go down to 130 or 140 only to go back to 140+ when they climb the ring? That doesn't make any sense. It is universally accepted that not cutting weight gives a boxer the ability to fight at his optimum potential. The draw back is, he could be facing somebody who will be bigger and who will outweigh him by 10 to 20 lbs.. This is not the case for this fight. JMM and Pac did not have to cut weight, therefore, they will be at their optimum bests.

Sure, JMM has not proven himself at WW, but that is because he tried it once and found out that he is not cut out to be facing bigger guys. Since in this fight he is not facing a bigger guy, but a guy who he believes he has beaten twice, his chances may have increased substantially. The fact that Pac has proven that he can handle bigger guys is beside the point. You are like saying that a good champion should handicap himself and come down to the level of an inferior challenger just to make the fight more interesting.
