[QUOTE=marvin douglas;11402412]When Manny was losing to Morales and having split decisions with JMM, he wanted not part of Floyd, right? QUOTE] In 2005 Manny was a jr lightweight and Mayweather was a jr welterweight. I'm not sure what you are getting at.

Both of whom are way tougher fights? Really? Margarito standing still while Manny fires 6 punch combos sounds like a tough night at the office to me. You are a ******* dog. You think that Floyd's legal trouble will prevent the fight from happening? Well, Mr. Mayweather has reserved the MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 5th. Mr. Pacquiao has agreed to the tests, so we will have a fight. The ONLY thing that would prevent the fight, is the coward who's claiming that Floyd's legal trouble is the issue. That's Mr. Bob Arum. Bob Arum just admitted that he's never been too keen on making the fight happen. Stop listening to old news and thinking you are up to date. I understand you may not like Floyd Mayweather, but don't sit here and LIE about why the fight's not happening. Manny got called out and it's Manny's promoter who seems to have a problem with the fight happening.

The point is, why didn't Manny fight Floyd then, regardless of the weight difference? Manny was afraid, right? If not, then why would you say Floyd is scared now? Floyd just knows the boxing business and will fight Manny when the price is right.

            Great news.

Hopefully after the fight tommorow they can sit down and get this fight done.

Why can't Bob Arum respond in a positive way to Mayweather's comment like Pac has?

I don't get what you are getting at either. They were 10 pounds (2 weight classes) apart, why would Manny or Floyd want to fight each other then when they weren't in the same division? Also, Floyd wasn't an established PPV attraction back in 2005. He was starting to establish himself as one when he took the Gatti fight I believe. A lot has changed since the year you are trying to make point on.

Actually the boxing public is the one clamoring for Floyd to fight Manny. Not the other way around. Don't forget whos the p4p #1 in the world. Pac's going to have to lose a fight to lose that distinction and if Mayweather doesn't step up, you can foget that happening anytime soon.

But the thing is that Manny made the weight at jr lightweight and then rehydrated to heavier than Mayweather.

Pacquiao weighed in at 129 vs Marquez in 2008 and rehydrated to 145 on fight night. When Mayweather fought at 140 he never rehydrated more than 4 or 5 pounds.

The weight disparity was never as much as people think.

Probably talking about Mayweather who promotes himself. I think he is suggesting Mayweather the promoter is scared to put himself in with Pac.
