Comments Thread For: Arum: Mayweather Driven Crazy When Pacquiao Fights

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, who promotes Manny Pacquiao, is not paying any attention to any of the recent press clippings which indicate Floyd Mayweather's desire to face Arum's prize boxer. Mayweather's adviser, Leonard Ellebe, has been making the rounds in the media, calling for a May showdown with Pacquiao at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Arum advised the Las Vegas Review Journal that nobody has contacted his office to negotiate any of the details and the recent announcement is nothing more than the usual attention-grabber that Mayweather pulls during every Pacquiao fight week.

this is why mayweather broke 1 million in the marquez and ortiz fight, all he does is ride pacquiao's **** to get some media attention when pac is in the spotlight, alot of *****s are desperately wishing deep down that he contradicts himself some more so he can duck his way out of the fight and they can defend him in some online forum while the rest of the world write down in their history bbook that mayweather is a ducker who avoids manny and agree
then this lost *****s will do wat they do best - brag about how he can beat pacquiao in an imaginary fight and makes some bs excuse that pacquiao doesnt wanna fight him and then may goes on vacation or some **** like that LOL

now some here and there *****s are feeling confuse in in here wishing he doesnt contradict himself when in one interview he wants the fight then when the media press him about details, hes like, i didnt say that, dont put words in my mouth LMFAO
we know youre a punk ass ducker maywether, 4 years weve said it and this video is another instance of you proving it...

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't arum use Floyd to promote PAC last week with the he will never fight PAC because he scared of manny right hand **** and they agreed to the testing.

Now dude is calling their bluff and now it's he only wants to tale pacman shine. I mean WTF?

Everybody seems to want this fight except for Bob Arum. It's a big step up for Roger AND Ellerbe to even be stating that Floyd needs to fight Pac, through the media.

Bob, if you're so sure they're just bluffing - send over a contract to get it started after Nov 12. But we all know you won't cause you told the whole world a fight between Manny and Floyd would never happen.

Ego is a tough thing. Neither promoter will initiate a contract but both will scream that the other won't sign. It's all nonsense and no one wants to hear about it until the contracts are ALREADY signed. Why? Because tomorrow it's gonna be a whole new song and dance from everybodys mouth. No sense in getting ryled up about it when the song is constantly changing.

these guys need to sit down and put the egos aside and give boxing fans and the world what they want. enough of the politics.
the MGM is perfect for this fight, this sounds like greedy talk by bob.
just imagine the rematch, how big that would be.
just get it done , enough with the roadblocks.

i hope floyd and co. are as vocal about making this fight a week from now.

although i have a feeling floyd will be "unreachable" somehow

It doesnt matter what Mayweather does ion his career, how much money he makes (and blows), or how many PPV's he sells by using Manny's name all the time....Floyd will be remembered for his blatant refusal to challenge Manny Pacquiao for the P4P Title. All bark, no bite. In 7 years when he's driving an 86 Cadillac around town living in an apartment on Lake Mead st, people will only remember how he ducked Pac Man.
