Everybody seems to want this fight except for Bob Arum. It's a big step up for Roger AND Ellerbe to even be stating that Floyd needs to fight Pac, through the media.

Bob, if you're so sure they're just bluffing - send over a contract to get it started after Nov 12. But we all know you won't cause you told the whole world a fight between Manny and Floyd would never happen.

Ego is a tough thing. Neither promoter will initiate a contract but both will scream that the other won't sign. It's all nonsense and no one wants to hear about it until the contracts are ALREADY signed. Why? Because tomorrow it's gonna be a whole new song and dance from everybodys mouth. No sense in getting ryled up about it when the song is constantly changing.

It's clear as day that bob doesn't want to make this fight. I really wish the media would call bob on his bull****. But it seems as if they are on his payroll.

What seems so painfully obvious (and has always been obvious to me) is that Bob doesn't want this fight to happen until the end of Pacquiao's career. Pac has already gone on record saying he wants to fight until atleast 2013. Bob wants to delay this fight so he can make "other" money with Pac, and Bob is famous for saying he wants fights to "build up". He doesn't want to take the risk of this fight happening and it being the possible end of the road for Manny. After Manny and Floyd fight, there is no other fight for either of them that could ever compare. It's like going from filet mignogn (sp?) to a top sirloin steak. Anything after is going backwards and no other fight could top the amount of money and hype that fight will bring in.

Bob is probably counting on it being HIS last hoorah as well. Probably already planning on announcing his own retirement after their fight(s). *If he doesn't end up being senile or, no offense, dead before it happens. At this rate, you never know.

I said that back in 2009. When Bob's ready, he will make it. He's been doing it for 50 years. Floyd's not that good to stop a man like Arum from doing his job... Everyone knows that but still insist Floyd is "scared" because they don't want to accept the truth out of being fanboys.
