Even though this is just another Arum lie, I would seriously fear for my life if I were Mayweather fighting in Singapore (a much closer destination for Pacquiao's Filipino fanbase). Even in the United States Floyd should have serious concerns for his and his family's safety if he ever would defeat Manny Pacquiao. The hatred Pacquiao fans have for Mayweather has reached such insane heights mixed with the passion and obsessiveness of his fanbase make for a very dangerous combination.

Just based on the animosity you see around the internet regarding anything negative about Pacquiao, a loss to Mayweather would certainly make some of his overly devoted fans go off the deep end.

i still hold faith that pacquiao-mayweather will be made, there is simply too much money on the table for them not to fight, im talkin record breakin shyt. and we all kno floyd fights for the $$$...my prediction is sometime around christmas this fight gets signed for sometime in april or may 2012. if it doesnt get made by that time, then its too late. and if it does get made after that time, then shame on them for not gettin it done sooner, cuz i dont wanna c two greats fight after their prime.

Possibly not, but thats why an unbeaten record like floyds is in a way manufactured and false.
He has fought in America all his life, is that a coincidence? Is there a reason he dont like fighting abroad, yet he expects foreigners like Hatton, castillo, JMM and Pac to fight him in his home town? If he fought Castillo in mexico do you think floyd would have an unbeaten record now?
