Who has enough of Hopkins' hype?

I watched the Hopkins-Dawson fight: Hopkins holds and pushes definately too much for my taste, comes forward with the head, and showed poor power.
It's very fashionable among boxing fans to say that Hopkins "schools" his opponents. He quite made a trademark out of this sentence. He's also very good at licking HBO ****s, which makes him propaganda material for Larry Mercùnt and co.

To me, schooling an opponent means "teaching him a thing or two about boxing"... It sure doesn't mean acting, holding, pushing, headbutting etc. I think that Hopkins is not much more than a good, slick hireling with a great fitness coach.

and yeah, I don't know how you could not call his fights with pavlik, tarver & trinidad schooling. That's what they were, plain & simple

Pavlik was in poor psychological shape in that fight... Schooling an alcoholic is not really something to go proud of.
Trinidad... Man, that guy was half Hopkins' size, and overweight! Instead he was schooled two times by Jermain Taylor who was DEMOLISHED by Pavlik...
I'm sorry for the fans, but I can't call Hopkins a great fighter. He's good at pleasing fans tho, that's for sure.

How do you call it when someone is given more credit than he deserves? Hyped-up, overrated... Just call it as you like, I think you know what I meant anyway.
