I find it funny that so many rate Ortiz so highly..It's not a problem if ya think he's going to win,I'm totally fine with that...But all this Ortiz would KO Alexander,Ortiz wins easy is a bit funny to me..Being the fact that Ortiz did quit in the ring after 6 rds, against a guy that Alexander clearly just dominated..Outside of Berto(which I'll state again,he's not that good)Ortiz does not have a significant win to speak of..I have no issues with anyone of the opinion that Ortiz wins this fight, but to say,oh this is easy work and blah blah blah..Just really makes some of you sound like ya don't know what ya talking about..

Totally agree here. However a ******* will tell you that Ortiz was dominating Floyd and won every round. Some will tell you that he almost ko'ed Floyd. That has to have some kind of merit right?

Ortiz carries 147 very well and seems more energized and stronger at the weight. He won't be slow and sluggish like Maidana looked. Alexander looked great, so I definitely think he'll have his moments. But Ortiz takes this one, TKO by the 10th.

Ortiz fought a different maidana, not to take anything away from Alexander but maidana didn't look his best at ww.
Ortiz vs Alexander would be a good scrap, everyone knows ortiz has the power to put Alexander on his ass. I would give him the boxing edge but can he keep ortiz at bay in 12 rounds. If the ortiz that showed up against berto shows up it will be a rough fight for Alexander.

Alexander still has a lot to prove. He did well against Maidana, but Maidana was poor in that fight and was perhaps a bit overrated coming in, considering how he's looked in several of his past fights (Morales, Corley). Devon lost (quit) his biggest fight and has had two questionable decisions, verging on outright robberies.

Ortiz also has question marks of course, but Alexander has never beaten anybody the quality of Berto. And (obviously) has never faced the quality of Mayweather.

I give Devon a chance in this fight, but Ortiz looks the favourite to me. It's one thing remaining composed against Maidana, but whether he can do the same against Ortiz, who has faster feet and hands and very likely hits harder at 147, is another story. If Devon reverts to throwing out constant aimless jabs that almost all fall short, he's going to get eaten up.

I totally agree with both fighters having a bunch to prove,I also agree with ya points about Devon's jab and Ortiz punching power at 147lb..But I think Alexander is more mentally tough then Ortiz imo...I see a big problem with Ortiz,if ya consistently land on him(and the punches don't even have to be hard shots)he get's very discourage..He starts bullrushing, remember Alexander and his trainer wanted this fight, you best believe they saw something in Ortiz they feel the can exploit..I also see something, now the question is can Devon execute it..

Don't be surprised if Devon is stronger then Ortiz as well...
