People here should understand that Donaire didn't do so much because he was asked by his corner not to push it.

His trainer was saying not to overdo things since Narvaez came not to fight but to survive. Donaire was practically asked not to go for the kill and take it easy instead by his trainer.

Roach, Nacho, or Emmanuel would have done differently. Nonito needs a new trainer.

yeah that fight leaves team donaire a lot of room for improvement. no regrets, nobody thought narvaez had the slightest chance anyway. all everybody wanted to see was the knockdown/out that never came. thanks to narvaez he proved everybody wrong.. narvaez wasn't ****** enough to give in to what everybody wanted, arum included. bottom line is narvaez got his bucks, probably his first and surely his last. nobody wanted narvaez for donaire in the first place except top rank. now maybe unca bob can find somebody deserving enough for the fans next time.

Bob Arum was right in saying that Donaire can't be Pacquiao, as there's only one Manny Pacquiao. Pacquiao's fighting style is a lot more exciting as he delivers volume of punches and with lots of speed, while Donaire is is a one-punch KO artist.

Good point, Alibata. I train myself, even though I am a musician, not a fighter, and it really helped show me a lot more about the sport, than what I knew sitting on my couch, getting wasted and watching fights.

I think the guy who has the best chance to beat him, including Gamboa, from 122-126 is RIGONDEAUX; Rigo is like a SUPER OMAR NARVAEZ with a LOT more punch. . .

ALso, I think if he makes it to 130, Broner beats him. . . I still take him over Gamboa - he'll time and catch gamboa with his left hook.
He will time nothing against Gamboa, he has never seen a fighter like YG and if a 36 year old midget busted up ND face like that, imagine what Gamboa will do when he hit that face, it will be the first time that Nonito would fight a boxer his own size and this time the punch and speed will not be on his side, Gamboa by decapitation.

The guy couldn't even knock out a smaller and weaker puncher. He couldn't because the guy was in defense mode and he didn't brawl with him. The moment he fights a defensive fighter that wont brawl with him and can hurt him, he'll lose easily.

Pac is overrated as well. Mayweather took 21 months off and came and beat the **** out of Marquez. He completely dominated the fight. Marquez fight's Pacquiao and bloodied him up both times. It was easy work for Mayweather. Just an example of deluded bandwagon fans who can't analyze the real boxers from the overhyped.

I know this isn't proved yet. But I'm telling you that Mayweather will make easy work of Pacquiao. Im sure ***man knows this. Which is why he won't just jump into the fight. He's scared. He's watched Floyd and how easily he manhandled Marquez who is right now considered to be number 5 in the p4p rankings. He's not as ****** as he looks. He knows Floyd will end his big money fights when he makes easy work of him.

For one ***man is a volume puncher and he won't hurt Floyd easily. Floyd has the best defensive technique I've ever seen. And it's not easy to hit him. Yet Pacquiao is an easy target. Look at the fight with Marquez vs Mayweather. Marquez didn't even land ****. But he bloodied up Pacquiao both times they fought. These guys are brawlers. They can't **** with true boxers. They'll get manhandled. But wait and find out. I bet you Donaire is going to get his ass kicked when he runs into a defensive fighter with power.
yup a certified *****, sighting Floyd's name in a Donaire thread....

im sick & tired reading "uh Donaire is so ****ing big why can't he dispatch Narvaez easily"

Donaire is NOT a bulldozer offensive machine who breaks down his opponents by applying pressure

yes he's bigger, faster, more skilled...but he utilizes them to suit his style which is counter punching
