From about the 5th-6th rd on the crowd were booing regularly with very little, if any, applause. And booed when the fight was over. Donaire hit gloves or missed about 90% of his punches, no matter what the judges decided. And Naervez kept picking away with his very good straight right, which, along with a few very good left hands puffed up Donaire's face rather well. He looked as ifhe'd been in a fight.

The most impressive fighter of the televised portion, for me, was the guy who KO'd his opponent in the 1st of a six rounder. Mikey Garcia packs a good KO punch but is too easy to hit, didn't move his head.

I think some of the guys who write the articles don't even watch the fights.
I agree with you, the announcers were calling shots that didn't even land. Donaire fought Navarez's fight and got tagged alot while doing so, almost all of his shots were blocked, and got tagged. It's one thing to win a lobsided decision like Pacquiao vs Clottey, but that win was different, Pacquiao fought Clottey's fight but he DID OUT-LANDED him, Donaire did not connect more punches and fought Navarez's fight.

I want to see the compuBox stats for the lolZ

At the end of the fight as expected...the Pilipino wrecking ball emerged as the clear winner by a unamous decision. One thing good with Narvaez...he took the offer to fight Nonito Donaire even though he knows very well that he does not the chance to win against the Pilipino slugger and not like chicken Floyd Mayweather Jr. who retires everytime his name is being called out by good opponents.

        DRAW your face.

What else can Donaire hit if he put his gloves that high? He is too scared to engage. A scarety cat like Narvaez should just retire and don't do anymore boxing.

The last time I checked, Nonito weighed 116.4 lbs and Narvaez weighs 117 lbs. How the hell are they not the same size? Unless there is a 'height' class in boxing, you can't put that as an excuse.

We're talking about natural size, not weigh-in weights.

Yeah? And you are making that as an excuse? That's why there are months of preparation before the fight. That's why they have to make a gameplan on how to fight a 'larger' fighter as you said. And clearly they failed. Making that as an excuse right after the fight is plain ******ity.

Yes, I was rather expecting a draw. Donaire had no plan B at all. I WAS surprised after all the talk about his lb4lb status and his talking about going up in weight perhaps as high as 140, presumably winning all the time.

For a fighter who was badly out-weighed, out-sized, out-aged and out-reached, Naervez fought very well, showed absolutely no hesitation nor reluctance, and took his opportunities when they were available. He took a couple of good hits,-showing that he has an excellent chin-and give a bit more back, in my opinion.

This is long said, by Donaire HIMSELF, that this is his LAST fight at 118 that it's too difficult to make 118 and definitely expects to go to 122, 126, and 130, and even likely to 140. He said that last, just yesterday.

Him weighing in at 116.25 lbs was a huge surprise to everybody, and I'm sure to his trainer as well, although he disguised it. There were even headlines about it.

You seem to be one of those sadistic guys who wants to see fighters smashed and broken up. You could learn something about skilled boxing and enjoy it, as i did.
