Not enough happened to say would win the fight, but with Dawson throwing him down and having his forearm in his face earlier in the round during a clinch, it appears he was ready for Hopkins' usual tactics. It's unfortunate we didn't get to see more cause it looked to be an intriguing fight.

Seriously?!!? Hopkins Quit? There's NO Chance Hopkins Quit!

Are you saying freak injuries don't happen in the ring? Are you saying that torn ACL' in fighters knees have never happened, they stepped wrong, and couldn't continue because they could stand or move on it, not resulting from a punch or being hurt?!!? Hopkins hadn't been hit, gets lifted and dropped on his shoulder, and he can't dislocate a shoulder, not the result of a punch?!!? Guys haven't stepped on an opponents foot, turned an ankle, and couldn't continue, not the result of a punch! Guys have stepped wrong and broken a leg in the ring before. Guererro training for Maidana recently yore his Rotator Cuff in his shoulder needing surgery, not the result of getting hit by your opponent. Give me a break! Hopkins in his long legendary career has never backed away from a fighter or ANY war! You don't know much about Boxing and the potential for freak injuries, not the result of any punch. For anyone to bash Bernard Hopkins for being able to continue after he was lifted and dropped to the canvas separating his shoulder, you then just aren't a fan of Bernard Hopkins. He is the epitome of a warrior. Dawson didn't have to lift him and drop him to the canvas; wait for the referee to step in and separate the two fighters tied up. ******. Let Hopkins heal this injury, and war h him come back and dog Dawson, just like he did Pascal. Insane to accuse Hopkins of quitting!

I think we all know the type of fighter Hopkins is, there is no way he's gonna quit against a Chad Dawson. Hopkins is no Cintron. I'm pretty sure Hopkins would've continued if he could've. I think he has demonstrated throughout the years that he is willing to fight anyone and I he should have the befit of the doubt. Regardless if you like or don't like his style of fighting, the man is a Legend and always talks about his legacy. This is not what he wanted, this will be over turned to NC. IT BETTER!!
