Comments Thread For: Prescott Falls Over Laughing at Amir Khan Chin Hype

Junior welterweight contender Breidis Prescott disagrees with a recent statement that appeared on krikya360.com. According to Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer, WBA/IBF 140-pound champion Amir Khan might possibly possess the "best chin in boxing." In 2008, Prescott knocked Khan out in 54-seconds of the first round.

What Prescott just said is the truth and nothing but the truth as far as I'm concerned.

Khan is quality, but he doesn't want to be in with big punchers, he does prefer avoiding them if he has the chance. His chin is his biggest weakness and whilst it just about carried him through the Maidana fight there is no doubt he was looking like Bambi on stilts

if he avoids big punchers he stands a great chance at rising to the top, but his chin will check his ass every time his mouth gets carried away

I'mma Khan fan and I actually want him to fight sluggers like Maidana, Mathysse and Prescott just because they'd be so easy for him. Not only would they be easy fights for him but those are the type fighters that can make him look good.

Its easier to look against sluggers then against technical or slick quick guys like Kotelnik, Malignaggi and Judah. With his skill, speed, height and reach advantage he can abuse those guys and put on a clinic. Plus he's shown he can take a punch so if they do land a big one he can take it.

Those guys are slow, have limited boxing skill, follow their opponents around the ring and come in straight lines. All they have is power. Once you take that away from them its like fighting a punching bag.

Prescott needs to go and die, his whole life seems to revolve around Khan.
Khan beat Maidana and the shot in the 10th was not the first one he landed in the whole fihgt. Khan took many decent maidana punches before that one!!!!
