Go Lara, talking **** about everyone should hopefully help him get the headlines and fights against them in the future. I like the fact he wants to step up to 160 and fight Sergio, i just hope Sergio is happy to fight him and not looking at the 147 lbers

That would be a big risk, small reward kind of a deal. Wouldn't be too wise on the part of Martinez. He should wait for Lara to get one of the titles at least.

Real talk mann.He had the chance to shine against a pre-williams Cintron and failed.In shut down form too.Now he's carefully matched against a fighter who's punching power is being overlooked by his vulnerable chin.It amazes me that GB would do this to kirkland.Pre-ishida kirkland was nurtured as the next big thing,ran into a wall and they're feeding him to the wolves.I like angulo,but the bar needs to be set.

Although he does make a case for fighters to be ducking him after the PWill beat down, I think he's really barking louder than what he should be. Molina straight up schooled this cat, why isn't he calling Molina out to at least set the record straight and actually get a W against him? I was pretty pissed off after they robbed him against Williams, but all this calling out chet is pretty ****** when he chooses to opt out the guy that actually "beat" him.

Molina didn't schooled this guy at all, he out hustle on a few rounds to make the fight closer but the best punches of the fight were connected by Lara he even put hurt him in the 8 or 9 round, just because the fight was not what we expected it doesn't meant Molina put a beating on Lara, and Molina is with De Cubas now, he will not let Lara beat up on another of his fighters and make no mistake that is what will happens if they face each other again, and he is not calling anyone, those fights were offered and those fighters turn it down, I understand why they did it but nonetheless they turn down the fight.

Lara is a crafty boxer puncher and a southpaw. He's problems for a lot of boxers, but he's not aggressive enough and gasses out during the middle rounds.

I seriously don't see why a killer like Angulo would be afraid to fight this guy. It's all politics in the end, I like Lara but I wish he would be more aggressive, they robbed him against PWill, no doubt about that, but he was wearing a blood mask for crying out loud. He should have finished him to win that fight right then and there so he's to blame for getting robbed as well.

I agree with much of what you say, especially the bold. I picked P. Will to win the fight with Lara. Erislandy showed me something with his win, but I'm still not 100% sold...mainly for the reasons you stated. Lara basically took advantage of Williams's fundamental flaw (dropping the right hand while throwing a left) and his inability to adjust (Erislandy landed the left over the top all night long). I need to see a little more versatility from Lara before I'm convinced. For now, Erislandy certainly appears like a dangerous opponent. I don't doubt that he's being avoided.

I saw the Lara-Molina fight once. My impression was that Carlos edged-out Erislandy and should've gotten the nod. When the draw was announced, I felt Lara dodged a bullet. In my opinion, it was a bad decision, but not a robbery. Whatever one might think about the decision, no one "schooled" anyone. Erislandy was lethargic that night; he wasn't busy at all. To Carlos's credit, he took advantage of Lara's laziness and out-worked him.

As it turns out, Molina is better than most people thought. He proved in his next two fights that the Lara performance was no fluke. While Carlos and Erislandy are under De Cubas, there's almost no chance they'll ever meet again.

If he fight Molina and beat him up, no big fight will come his way, and molina is signed by de Cubas, he will not let that fight happens now, if he is smart he will way until it means more than braggin rights, beside they are a lot names outhere in and around 154 lbs, by the way Lara vs. Molina will happen.
