Scumbag B U L L S H I T T E R Arum says he can't think of a name of a fighter that would do what Floyd(RIGHTFULLY) did to Victor "Zinedine Zidane"Ortiz.. Well I could think of a few, like Arums own fighter Brandon Rios(who already said he would have done the same thing) Zab Judah, Roberto Duran, Bernard Hopkins, Mike Tyson & Hector Camacho Sr just to name a few...& Im not saying these are dirty fighters, but these are fighters who who would'nt accept what dirty ass Ortiz did & would have definitely paid him back somehow..Some people tend to forget that the author of this whole situation is Ortiz for INTENTIONALLY HEAD BUTTING Floyd & causing a cut in his mouth for NO REASON!!!

"I really don't know any," Arum said Tuesday.

Had he seen anyone do anything even similar to Mayweather's surprise KO of Ortiz?

                "Nope," Arum said.

When Ortiz's promoter, Oscar De La Hoya, played host to a conference call Monday with Ortiz and his manager, Rolando Arellano, De La Hoya was asked if during his many years as a fighter he knew anyone who would have clocked an opponent immediately following a sportsmanlike embrace.

"Zero, none of them," De La Hoya said. "Not even Ricardo Mayorga would have done that."

Obviously Arum and De La Hoya never saw Duran. Or Marciano. Or Dempsey.

Don't agree about Hopkins. BHop has often hit a fighter who was trying to touch gloves (sometimes after he had been fouled by them), but never anywhere near hard enough to knock them down, and I don't believe he would want to end a fight that way. Some of the other fighters you mentioned would probably have done it but not Hopkins.

The point is that ending the fight by knocking out someone who was looking the other way and had his hands by his side short-changes the fans, and given that he had the ability to get the knock-out without relying on his opponent being defenceless, it short-changes him and his legacy as well. It's not an issue of morals, it's an issue of taking pride in your performance and in giving the fans the spectacle they paid him $40 million to see and which they deserved to see. And regarding his legacy, if he'd ended the fight differently everyone would now be talking about what a brilliant master-class he put on and what a truly great boxer he is, instead of which that aspect of the fight is being ignored by most people because they are all debating the way it ended. So Floyd badly short-changed himself as well as the fans.

It's not the fact he hit Ortiz that was disappointing, it was the fact that he ended the fight that way.

The Only people who COULD NOT SEE that the fight was scripted... are the same people who thinks WWE is FOR REAL. Even a peanut brain imbecile would be able to tell that NO WAY Ortiz will win. How can somebody paid $2mil dollar win over somebody being paid $40mil+ ? ORTIZ was there for the payday! *****S are trying to reason this to be a legitimate fight when we all saw what happened. Anybody with a working brain cell could easily figure that as SOON AS THE FIGHT WAS ANNOUNCED!
