Comments Thread For: Kendall Holt: Danny Garcia is Not Ready For This Level

TOTOWA, NJ-- Former world champion Kendall "Rated R" Holt is on a mission to recapture a world title belt, but first he must score a win over unbeaten prospect Danny "Swift" Garcia when they meet Oct. 15 on the "Believe It Or Not: Hopkins vs. Dawson" pay-per-view undercard at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles for the vacant NABO Junior Welterweight title, as well as for the WBC #1 and IBF #2 ratings positions.

Garcia is right on your level.

I have to agree Holt on this one. However, if Garcia does lose, like I think he may, as long as he doesn't get knocked out, it'll be a good learning experience for him... It is said that back in the day, losing was almost a prerequisite to getting a title shot (bouncing back from a loss, that is).

Danny Garcia has good technique and talent, he's close to or on Holt's level, but Kendall has a difficult style for Garcia. Danny arguably lost to Ashley Theophane, if Holt can stay composed mentally, he will put himself in good position to win the fight.

I go with Holt to win decisively. Too many people are wined, dined, and seduced by an unbeaten record.
