But what does a guy like Rios weigh come fight night? 145-150?

I just hope you're right and Yuri becomes a force at lightweight. That division commends more notoriety.

against any other LW, it wouldn't be, but rios is a big LW who applies a lot of pressure. Not sure that gamboa's power will carry and more than likely rios will be able to hand gamboa's power.

Gamboa beats any one up to 175 except for Floyd Mayweather Jr, Andre Ward, Andre Dirrell, Chad Dawson and Bernard Hopkins.

That's not a bad resume of losses for a future former Featherweight, champion in 9 weight classes.

Gamboa has shown he can outbox come forward fighters under pressure.

De Leon and Salido are very tough come forward fighters and Gamboa easily outboxed them.

If he gains weight like he's supposed to, he should be able to beat Rios. Rios is so big though, I doubt he'd still be at 135 by the time Gamboa gets up there.

Gamboa would tear this kid apart! Rios is a good fighter, but doesn't have ability to keep up with Gamboa. Yuriorkis to slick, to fast, to strong. not a good look for Rios career.

he wants to unify with the demarco-linares winner. Then he wants gamboa
                      if hes going to 135.
