As a *****, I must get something off of my chest.

I have went and watched the Mayweather vs Ortiz fight more than a few times...

I dont think that Floyd looked very good against Ortiz.

Every time I watch the fight, I cant help but to think that Pacquiao has better chance to beat Floyd.

I am NOT saying he will beat Floyd, but I am saying that Floyd allowed more doubt to creep into my head.

Before the fight I had it 80/20 Floyd.... After the Ortiz fight, I have the fight 65/35 Floyd.

Exactly. He wasnt as accurate and sharp with his punches. Maybe it was because he was coming forward and was being the aggressor.

He also got hit a lot more than I was used to. In the 4th alone, he got hit with 2 good shots.

Im just not used to seeing Floyd look like that.

For Floyd, it was sloppy, but if it was anyone else, it would be a hell of a performance.

Thats how it is when you are an ATG.

I thought he looked as sharp as ever, his connect % was down but that seemed to me more a function of him pawing more with his left hand and compubox counting those as punches when they were really just a way of setting up his right hand, and he could not miss with his right hand. With him pressing the action more there is gonna be some dip in the punch stats.

Accuracy was not as high but he was fighting a big Southpaw that really picked his spots of attack and was moving a lot. Who would of thought that the bigger man would be the one moving around?!

Pac wouldn't be moving that much so I would expect Floyd's numbers to be right back up in the mid to high 40 percentile. The jab alone will keep it up...

yeah he's lost his legs and gets hit much more, also Ortiz looked the fitter of the two in the 4th round, KOing Ortiz when he had the chance may have been Floyd's smartest decision yet

i thought his right straight looked good and would be effective against Pac (unless they plan for it). But what I saw is that Floyd can't trade. Pac's chin and aggressiveness will make it hard for floyd to just throw 1 straight right every now and then. Pac will run through it and throw a 3-5 hit flurry.

Yeah, but Ortiz landed some decent shots, but wasnt able to follow up. I think Pac would have followed up, and would have made it a much closer fight.

Exactly bro... The way Ortiz would throw and Floyd would fall straight back and still get hit.

Pac would let his hands go more. But that works both for and against him.

Floyd is a great counter puncher, but also Pac is fast and has power.

ortiz is a better boxer than pac... A quitter, but still a better boxer...
