I dont think that Floyd looked very good against Ortiz.

Every time I watch the fight, I cant help but to think that Pacquiao has better chance to beat Floyd.

I am NOT saying he will beat Floyd, but I am saying that Floyd allowed more doubt to creep into my head.

Before the fight I had it 80/20 Floyd.... After the Ortiz fight, I have the fight 65/35 Floyd.
Here is a video you should ponder on. If Victor can do this to Floyd what more if it's the p4p doing what victor was doing to Floyd in the 4th round at the ropes.

No brainer, pac will finish him good. If a b class fighter like Ortiz can land those bombs. Pac is light years better and faster. No brainer. Better ask yourself why Floyd ain't want to figtht pac?

Different size and different style...people who keep saying Pac will walk through Floyd's punches are reared as hell!!! Not only will he get cut and lumped up...a KO is very likely if he was reckless.

I do agree that if Floyd played against the ropes or stood still and let Pac unload combos he would eventually get clipped but Floyd has weapons that one else really uses like a very good jab when needed, check hook, pull counter and the many different looks of D.

I whole heartedly feel that a very good(don't have to be a great night) Floyd beats the best Pac on any given night!!

I really don't think Ortiz landed one "bomb" but he had a few pretty good shots...that being said, is it safe to say that u think Floyd has a hellava chin if those were "bombs" that didn't buckle or even stun Floyd?

Victor Ortiz is a huge welterweight who can muscle Floyd or anybody else in the division to the ropes. Pacquiao is a hell of a fighter, but I don't think he'll be able to impose his physical strength on Floyd. Floyd is taller, has the greater reach, I think he has the strength advantage, and he will come into the fight heavier. The speed difference between the two is negligible. It's highly doubtful he gets bulled to the ropes. I expect the fight to look more like Mayweather-Marquez myself.

And Floyd who's notoriously known for starting slow quickly established himself within 4 rounds, I can't imagine what would have happened to Victor had it gone 4 more rounds. Floyd didn't even go hard to the body yet.

He also got hit a lot more than I was used to. In the 4th alone, he got hit with 2 good shots.

Im just not used to seeing Floyd look like that.

For Floyd, it was sloppy, but if it was anyone else, it would be a hell of a performance.

Thats how it is when you are an ATG.

or leave a visible mark on Floyd's face, except for the gash on his lip from the headbutt.

ortiz landed some shots, the steam was blown off them due to Floyd's defensive abilities, none of the punches Ortiz landed on Floyd were anything to get excited about, they scored points, but Floyd landed the crisper, cleaner, round-swaying shots, the shots that dictate ring generalship and clean effective punching, which is why Floyd was winning every round
