Floyd and Hopkins both seem to be letting their hands go more

recently, both were known to me mostly cagey counter punchers, they still are cagey and counter punch, but both are letting them hands go more and are becoming "more exciting" this is a good look when done intelligently.sure they may get hit a couple times but both are so damn smart in the ring, this is a good look............

To the ring..PUT HOPKINS BACK ON THE DAMN P4P LIST...FUCKERS

I agree, especially with hopkins. I'm from Philly and i love him but he practically in no entertaining fights over the past 10 years but these last 2 Pascal fights were entertaining as hell

        Their p4p list is terrible.

        Bradley over Khan and Hopkins
        Segura over Hopkins
        Ward over Hopkins

        that list is a joke.

Not agains Calzaghe though, maybe because he would have to pay double when he did.

Floyd is more aggressive against southpaws, he has to be, because his defense is not as tight against the southpaw and his jab becomes infective.

But yes, attacking exciting fighters are much better and entertaining that fighters that just play it safe and don't take risks.

he let them go a little against pavlik and tarver but he was never in any danger making it a boring one sided beating but Pascal actually hurt him a couple times making it more interesting. I've always watched Hopkins and i was never jumping out of my seat before like i was against Pascal, i could watch them fights every day.

Yeah against Pascal he was willing to trade and when he got caught he answered back.

Seems as Hopkins is enjoying his boxing much more now.

Floyd is not on the same level as Hopkins. I have not see Floyd fight his way out of trouble. And when he gets clocked he does immediately fire back putting himself in more danger.

Hopkins has been awesome lately.... his rematch with RJJ and the fight with Calzaghe alone was horrendous. And Floyd has always been quite entertaining against Southpaws.

I think it's out of necessity, their legs aren't what they used to be and I think it's forces them to be a bit more stationary than they were before forcing them to throw more punches.

Plus in Hopkins' case, he had a thyroid condition that cleared up after the Calzaghe fight, so that might have something to do with it too.
