Can't blame Sergio. He wanted Floyd so bad, but there's barely a blip
about Sergio on Floyd's radar screen. Fighthype.com doesn't even bother
asking Floyd about Martinez. I thought they want the best for the best
fighter in the world. Not even a blip.

I personally don't have any issues with Sergio calling out Manny and Floyd.
I say this because he isn't doing anything other ATG MW's have done, which is look south at the WW division for huge paydays.
Bernard Hopkins looked south for bouts against Trinidad and De La Hoya (both WW's who were moving up)
Jake LaMotta looked south for a bout against one of boxing's biggest draws in Ray Robinson (WW)
Marvin Haglar eyeing bouts against guys like Hearns and Leonard
Carlos Monzon taking on Jose Napoles
and there are probably other examples, but the bottom line is that all the other greats MW's have done this, so given Martinez age, he absolutely deserves a Pacquiao or Mayweather payday and the shot at greatness that goes along with it.

TBH this fight has to take place at 153-155 for it to make any type of sense.
Even at that weight I still see Manny winning as he is the more skilled fighter, will actually shock Sergio with his power, and has alot of other attributes in his favor that could help him pull off the upset.
Matter of a fact if Manny does to Floyd what I think he will do to him, this is the only fight that would make sense for him to take.

Even despite the size advantage, I'd have to make Manny at least even money.
