Comments Thread For: Antonio Margarito is Already Training Hard For Cotto

Everything will be on the line for Antonio Margarito when he faces off with Miguel Cotto a second time this December 3rd at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Inactive since last November's horrendous thrashing at the hands of Manny Pacquiao, this may be the last shot at a title for the 33-year old Margarito as he attempts to lift Cotto’s WBA junior middleweight crown in the air by night’s end.

If I was in team Cotto instead of demanding a ****** meaningless 1 pound catchweight I would demand blood testing. This piece of **** has already shown us how low he would stoop for an advantage.

Tony is always in the gym training hard. This isn't anything new. He's keeping himself in shape.

          Hopefully Cotto will slaughter him.

Margarito's stamina and endurance has always been his strongest asset, it helps his lack of boxing ability. He can fight forever,it wasn't for the damage eye he would've hurt Pacquiao more in that fight. Now against Cotto he realizes this could be his last big fight. win= keep getting big fights. loose= really hard to come back t o the top.

I agree his strengths are his stamina, workrate and chin. That type of fighter is probably the worst style match up for Cotto so even though Cotto is the better fighter overall this will be a very tough fight for him.
