I don't think it happened like that. Floyd said in the beginning or the Ortiz build up that "Pacquiao your next", then I saw a video posted on here when he said "I didn't said that" but this article is about Conan O Brien asking him if Pac agreed to the tests will he fight Pac and Floyd said "Absolutely" I'm guessing this is after the video because it was on the Conan O Brien show not too long ago. Hold up! Are you seriously saying that the fight could have happened a long time ago if Floyd really wanted the fight AND then you said because Ross Greenburg said so? Are you going on record as dismissing the VERY FIRST negotiations where Manny Pacquiao didn't want to agree to the 14 day cut off and opted to fight Joshua Clottey? Are you REALLY trying to tell me that you are saying that the supposedly second negotiations where Arum said Ross Greenburg was the mediator was the first OFFICIAL negotiation? The fight could have happened BEFORE Ross Greenburg was even speaking, when both fighters were at the table AFTER Floyd beat Marquez AND before Pac went to fight Clottey. I just can't believe it. I guess this is why I am drawn to this debate because I just cannot believe how people can sit up and act like things didn't happen because it is not going in the favor of the guy they are supporting. Actually it would be an endless debate, just like the chicken and egg issue. I could just easily that the fight should have happened if Floyd did not demand OSDT considering Pac's an easy fight.

OK, assuming Floyd's demand is reasonable enough, I would say that both of them should be blamed for not happening in the first negotiation. You could question Manny not agreeing to 24 days, but I could question as well Floyd for being stubborn to 14 days. During the mediation with a retired judge, all the experts in the medical field were there and tried to convince Floyd that even with the 24 days window, he is safely protected, but to no avail. With March 13 already set and fast approaching, and the promotion required, Bob choose Clottey.

Besides, pac has already agreed to random unlimited blood test, so it does not need to be brought up anymore. There is a link of the mayweathers saying they want 100 million now for the fight.

This is to ensure that they don't just stay clean during their competition times, but are also staying clean throughout the rest of the year. If you roid up out of competition, then you can gain benefits and still look clean during competition.

In fact, since the negotiations have fallen apart, mayweather has only taken 1 drug test (for mosley) where as pac has taken 3 (clottey, margarito, mosley) - yes mayweather will have taken 2 by this time next week.

Interesting - someone posted an article in another thread where they interviewed someone close to one of mayweathers promoters - and in that interview (back in december 09) - he already knew mayweather and pac would never fight.

Yes i know that...what im saying is that in terms of being tested year-round, pacquiao has actually been tested 3 times whereas mayweather just once.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone here know which athletes have been caught using the usada blood test?

My first thought was marion jones, but she was only suspected after victor conte brought it up.

She did test positive for EPO but it was through a urine test.


Before we forget, pacs only issue has been blood testing, he has always agred to unlimited urin test.
