I don't know man. Martinez at 154 would be alot for Mayweather to handle. Sergio is fast, has 1 punch KO power, a south paw and he is durable. Floyd would have his hands full. Sergio Martinez is the fighter/boxer I feel has a chance to beat Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Pacquiao is wrong. Floyd believes, or, at least, pretends that Pacquiao is juicing. He also believes, or, at least, pretends that Pacquiao is never going to take Floyd OST.

Pacquiao is better off not answering any more questions about Floyd.

Martinez is the right opponent for Floyd. He will take Floyd OST.

        :-)

if either lose then its off. i actually think if Marquez hangs in there and is competitive with Pac, while Floyd completely dominates Ortiz we might see some trouble in the negotiations. i feel Arum will fight for having his own testing team for Pac that would be other than the USADA. either way im sure there will still be a problem with something regarding the testing for team Pac. on the other hand, if Mayweather startstalking about retiring again, and starts to disappear (again) while the fight is being discussed then i have nothing to say.

Because everyone has been waiting for Pac to say "YES, I will take the tests and fight Mayweather" but he hasn't. So the fight with Pac ain't? Funny how you say the fight between Floyd/Sergio would be evenly matched but wasn't Arum who said Pac is too small to fight Martinez? How could Floyd be scared of a guy (Pac) who is too small to fight a guy (Martinez) that Floyd is evenly matched with? Pac fans kill me. Also, atleast when Floyd was asked about a possible Sergio Martinez fight he said this:

After the fight was over, Mayweather was asked about some possible options - if a fight with Manny Pacquiao is not made. One reporter asked Mayweather about the possibility of moving up to 160-pounds to fight Martinez, who recently beat Kelly Pavlik for the titles. Mayweather surprised everyone by stating "it's possible."

ATLEAST Floyd didn't cop out with the "I'm too small" line. ALSO how can Pac be down to fight Victor Ortiz if he beats Mayweather but not Mayweather if he beats Ortiz? You Pac fans aren't using your brains for that one either huh?

I expect Floyd to disappear playing possum after the Ortiz fight and will reappear only after Pac scheduled his next opponents. This already happened a few times in Floyd part.

I think we all have a good idea of what is going to happen. Floyd will probably go handle his court obligations after this fight and Pacquiao will probably fight and defeat Ortiz in a more impressive fashion than Mayweather will.

martinez spanks mayweather like a red headed little girl

at 154 besides defense martinez holds every single advantage....
                  speed
                  quickness
                  angles
                  power
                  activity
                  footwork
                  size
                  strength
                  not being an a*******

i agree, and i dont know how that dude is comparing a fight to the fight serg had with pavlik who is 6 foot 1 and has a huge reach....mayweather doesnt present those problems

i think sergio beats mayweather easily...

i rewatched the hatton mayweather fight tonight and floyd had a lot of problems with hattons movement coming at him at angles. hatton landed a lot of lead hooks, plus hatton flying into floyd all night wore him down a bit and stiffled his ability to counter.

ortiz has a good chance to beat floyd with the right gameplan, he cant out box floyd but he can out work him and win rounds on activity

I think Floyd is going to call out Pac AND if Pac fights Ortiz after Mayweather beats him then there should be no way anyone can doubt that Pac is a B!tch @ss. Would be another Floyd fighter after Floyd and not Floyd himself. G@y. It's like in Highschool when one kid styles some kicks or a coat first and then when another kid sees it and how the first kid did it then he buys the same thing and tries to style on him more?

Funny how people keep saying that Pac beats Floyd's opponents better but none of them have been better then they were after Floyd fought them. Floyd fought Marquez and made that fight look like a walk in the Park but Pac went to war with JMM 2x's, 4 years apart and now he is fighting JMM again 3 years later, at a weight Mayweather already exposed JMM at, as not being effective. Pac is on Floyd's nuts. Trying to outdo the man without fighting him? Saying you don't need him but want to be and outdo him? G@y.
