What about Jan left eye that was starting to swell shout what caused that certainly there couldn't of been enough of those blocked punches that got through to make that occur!

well personally I would love to see a rematch, that fight was competitive and exciting and might have gotten even better down the stretch.

I didn't see any blatantly obvious headbutt that caused the cut. I mean, there was one on the replay, but it was along with Berto's uppercut. Who knows.

I'd love to see a rematch either way, I think Zaveck would have wore him out and punished him down the stretch. He impressed me a lot, it'd be terrible if he fades into oblivion now after losing his chance at making a name for himself.

There should be a rematch,When mares and agbeko fought there was
controversy and the ibf ordered the rematch in days.Lets see if they do
it for zavek. But they will most likely not cause zavek is white.

don't understand the controversy that was a miniscul headbutt if they start by this standard just about every fight would have a rematch ordered these things occur in boxing there where plenty of punches that did alot of that damage as well

                what about alexander-bradley
                maidana-morales
                wolak-rodriguez
                dawson-pascal
                khan-mcclosky
all these fight ended due to possible headbutts or cuts some from punches it happens in the sport there aren't 2 many fights were a headbutt doesn't occur he choose not to continue others choose to fight on his corner stopped the fight not a doctor

should he get a rematch wouldn't mind it at all but it's not something that should be a burning issue

i wouldnt mind seeing this fight again... they were going at it pretty hard.

but it wasnt controversial... the fight was stopped at the right time. i doubt the "commission" (if by that you mean the IBF sanctioning body), would require a rematch... and im sure berto wants to move forward with bigger names... although i dont see berto jumping up the ranks too quickly, it will be a long steady climb. i honestly would love to see berto/shane still... even a berto/collazo rematch.

In those fights, a headbutt was ruled and they went to the scorecards. Zaveck had a good case for being ahead on points when the fights was stopped.
