if froch can keep ward on the outside with his reach, ward won't be able to get inside and do his hug-n-hit tactic. if ward tries to run in, he might get caught with something big. froch's timing has to be perfect though and he's going to stay busy to keep ward on the defensive. if he gases, ward will be all over him. also froch needs to watch out for the headbutts... hopefully showtime forces goosen to pay for a good ref and good judges instead of crooked ones.

lol Froch is doing all the talking in the Media, while Ward is saying NOTHING!
I sense DOUBT AND CONCERNS about this match up from Froch...now it is to the point in which he is basically trying to "CONVINCE HIMSELF" within the media that "HE WILL WIN"
I think it is 70/30 in favor of Ward, Froch has a PUNCHERS CHANCE
I think Ward will use SPEED for this fight and he will pick him apart from the OUTSIDE kinda like he did Kessler and Froch is MUCH SLOWER then Kessler

Froch-Ward fight

Froch lost his fight with Kessler by a small difference of speed and determi-nation-Kessler fought in that fight much more with his heart ans soul than with
his difference of skills-hi's fighting in Denmark in front of his fans.
End, Kessler was out boxed and surpassed in speed in a pretty fashion by
Ward-and now groomed with some ,,vitamins" by his MENTOR-Conte(there is no smoke without fire) , it will be one way fight-Chevy(79) vs Ferrari Testa Rossa, even more :human being vs alien.

thats his only option not sure if he throws anything else besides that over rated upper cut and with him being a weak inside fighter i see him having problems, his best weapon is his chin and determination and that will only get you so far. i do like his pre fight antics though

imo at most he might stay on the outside for the opening 2 rounds and if/when it doesn't work he'll take the fight to Ward

I don't see Froch taking any of the first 3 rounds. He'll look to figure Ward out, boxing from range...then look to bring Ward into the trenches. Ward is very elusive though, and will have a gameplan A, B and C to steer away any threat from Froch.
The last 4 rounds is where Froch will look to take Ward out imo, but if he lets Ward's typical bully antics on the inside persuade the judges then it'll be a long night.
