    WBA/IBF junior welterweight champion Amir Khan has the advantage to land a mega-fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2012, according to Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer. Khan's ability to bring money from the UK and his traveling crowd of British fans is going to place him ahead of the line for a Mayweather payday. Khan returns to action in what is likely going to be his final fight at 140 on December 10, while Mayweather challenges WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz on September 17.

                From what Schaefer is making it sound, it sounds like the fight will be in Las Vegas. I hope that's the case because I'd like to go next year.

Unreal how they can make a guy who barely beat Mckloskey, got spanked by Maidana in a close win, than fought a guy in Zab who just came to collect a check! Ppl like Schaeffer dnt seem to understand that Money May works his mind not his body he is above and beyond every fighter I know mentally! Its his sick confidence in his skills and his team that will not allow him to lose! Khan can use his speed all night till the cows come home! But it don't matter cuz u can't hit what you can't see! Money May wins this fight than fights Mann and spanks him all on the same night! The world will see and than STFU when he outclasses Ortits in every which way!
